ABOUT THE BIBLE

We believe the Scriptures to be the inspired word of God. (2 TIMOTHY 3:15-16, HEBREWS 4:12)

ABOUT GOD
We believe in one God, eternal and self-existent, revealed to us in the Scriptures as Father, Son
and Holy Ghost. (GENESIS 1:1, JOHN 14:8-9)

ABOUT JESUS
We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood as a sacrifice for our sins, and
that He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the
Father. (COLOSSIANS 1:15-16, ROMANS 5:8)

ABOUT SIN
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin. (ROMANS 3:23; 6:23,
1 JOHN 1:8-9)

ABOUT SALVATION
We believe that man can be justified only by grace through personal faith in Christ. (EPHESIANS
2:8-9, 1 PETER 2:24)

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit to glorify Christ, to convict men of sin, righteousness
and judgment, and to empower the believer.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is at work today within the church through His gifts, fruits and
anointed ministry. (ACTS 1:8; 2-4. 1 CORINTHIANS 12-14)

ABOUT JUDGEMENT
We believe in the literal Second Coming of Christ to judge both the living and the dead.
We believe in the everlasting blessedness for the believer, but judgment and everlasting
punishment for the unbeliever. (ROMANS 14:10, 2 CORINTHIANS 5:10)

ABOUT MISSIONS
We believe that Christ wants the believer to carry the gospel into all the world. (MATTHEW 28:19-
20, 2 CORINTHIANS 5:20)

ABOUT PRAYER & FASTING
We believe in both individual (personal) and corporate prayer and fasting. (MATTHEW 6:5; 16,
PSALM 69:10)
